I pulled a reverse holo charizard in my pack. These other people must of gotten bad pulls. The box and everything inside was legit
Chalis Hodge –
Great amazing love it
Nathan Shotts –
The package had everything inside that was expected and all packs were factory sealed
Tyler Wagner –
Came quickly in good condition. Packs were legitimate and seals weren’t tampered with. Pulled some great cards, but that’s just luck of the draw.

Good pulls and non were resealed. Thanks again

The box came and immediately I knew it had been resealed. Pokemon usually seals their boxes on 2 ends with the plastic. This plastic was wrapped on 3 sides and extremely poorly done. The plastic also had multiple holes in it. I opened it anyways and the packs were re-sealed and then cut to make them seem clean. Not sure how sellers can get away with this especially from Amazon’s standards. All rare cards were reverse holo trainers or basic reverse holos. I opened tons of XY Evo’s when they came out. The packs were longer and the pulls were way better. They even put the holo’s in the wrong spots in the pack.

I bought this for nostalgic reasons. I thought it might be cool to try playing the game too (maybe). I also have no interest in anything beyond the original 151 pokemon.
So, this set is designed for playing the game. A good deal of your money is going toward coins, dice and other gaming accessories. Also, there is a fat stack of energy cards in there. That being said, you will get a lot of the good old cards in each set, but they repeat a lot (I bought the Blastoise box as well and I have more repeats then I’m willing to count). Each booster pack has one holographic just like the old days, but you might get a really basic or worse trainer holo. Don’t think that there is going to be a holo blastoise in every pack. And that leads me to my final point; the most powerful pokemon haven’t retained their original artwork. They have made them into mega or ex variants- good for battle, but not for nostalgia. If you want to play the game the set is great. For collecting the cards of yesterday, much less so.
