Great deal for what I wanted

Some of the packs arrived damaged. Esper Sentinel and Yavimaya Cradle are jacked up, though. Other pulls were pretty good. Two Scalding tarn’s and a List Kozilek. Definitely worth buying while it’s discounted. The value is great, but the damaged cards are a bummer.
Edit: Amazon replaced the box.

Bought early and price went down by the time I got this item, they gave me the difference back. Very pleased with them and the product.

Despite all the reviews of tampered products, I decided to risk it and buy one from StarTCG (There were multiple sellers). I was hesitant when I recieved the box, but the seal didn’t look tampered with so I started cracking packs. Nothing was tampered with and I actually landed some solid value (but we all know that’s untampered RNG). I would buy again if I had the money.

I received this as a surprise gift from my lovely girlfriend. It arrived in tightly sealed WOTC wrap, but the upon opening packs looked as if they had extra air in them, which made me wary of them having been tampered with. For some reason, these packs were much harder to open than any I’m used to—I resorted to using a scissors because although I don’t think I caused the damage, some of the cards were coming out with tiny nicks on the borders. My worries about tampering were quickly subsided when a foil Marsh Flats came out of the first pack.
As you can see, I got lucky with my box, having pulled almost $450 of value out of it, among which were 6 fetch lands, including a retro frame Scalding Tarn in the very last pack! I see that others have had issues with tampering—my only suggestion is that you be sure you know the reputation of the seller from whom you’re purchasing. I have so far not had any issues with resealed/tampered sealed MTG product on Amazon—including a Theros Beyond Death box that I pulled a Heliod, Kroxa, and Uro out of. I prefer to always shop local when possible, and I wish I could be the guy that came here to say “just buy from your LGS”, but those LGS’s are selling Strixhaven collector boosters for $300 when Amazon is selling them for $207 (at time of writing), and that is a STEEP tax to pay to support local businesses. It’s frustrating to see people post 1 star reviews when they receive tampered product—because the review is for the product (which they did not actually receive) and not for the seller that allowed such a heinous thing to happen in the first place. PLEASE just contact Amazon about a refund, contact the seller and/or leave negative, but honest feedback, and leave a product review if you actually receive the product. It is misleading to people to see a poor review on a product because others are not doing their due diligence in purchasing it in the first place.
As a product, I think MH2 is excellent, and while others may not pull as much value as I did (and hope to do again!), I think your odds of at least breaking even are pretty good. If you manage to pull a foil etched retro frame land (that WOTC says show up in 1% of these packs), then they practically pay for themselves in a single card.

Got some good pulls; couple Marsh Flats, Scalding Tarns, a couple Esper Sentinels, a Mirais Wake AND an Endurance! I do not recommend being a pack-whore to beginners, and always support the LGS when you can (will ALWAYS be cheaper to just buy the cards you want), but all my booster sloots may rejoice for a worthy product and provider.

Definitely will try Amazon again for buying mtg boxes, had a bad experience around Christmas with a tampered and repackaged box. But this has made me a believer that not all boxes will be that way.
