Box arrived in good condition in decent time. Artworks are good, excellent selection of new cards to play around with. Loved the openings I’ve done with my son, he got a few nice picks, very enjoyable experiences & we’ve both gotten some new cards we can try against each other in different formats, a winning vote on this set for both of us.

The product came earlier than I expected and had some great pulls!

  3. Colt McArthur

Received a Play Booster box and a Collector’s Booster box today, between them both, less than $100 in value for all the Rare/Mythic Rare pulls. Buy it because you like the set/art, but don’t buy for value, and as always, buy singles if you want a specific card. Between both boxes, the only card I wanted was Bristly Bill and came up empty handed.

    Good luck.

Straight out of the gate, this and Murders at Karlov Manor were less than welcomed in to the MTG family. They werent “bad” sets but they felt rushed and not really well thought out, much like MotM Aftermath. There are good cards to be played but barely 15% of total set printing, meaning base set, breaking news, big score, special guests, and even commander cards obtainable in packs. Getting right to it, youre looking for foil etched cards which are rare. So heres the break down: 1 to 4 rares/mythic, 1 to 3 Big Score, 1 to 2 Breaking News rare/mythic, and an extremely low chance at a Special Guests card. Total of 4 of any combination. The last slot is reserved for the commander card which is a total waste of a slot. Its 99% certain youll get a commamder card in 1 of the 5 upper rarity slots. Breaking this product down, not the entire set, this is is close to Murders at Karlov Manor. You are lookong for maybe 8 cards of mythic or rare rarity tops from base set, 3 Breaking News, a very small amount of Breaking News. Special Guests are NOT guaranteed 1 per box. Going straight to it, at current market prices on boxes:singles prices, youre averaging a less than 50% return. 10 collectors boxes and only 2 met the cost or above price paid. I cant recommend this product at any point unless you are new to MTG. Buy singles and commander decks. Much like Murders at Karlov Manor, Fallout, and Dr. WHO – buying the commander decks yield 90% of the base set cards when buying all 4. The other cards just buy singles. Check the values of cards youd actually play as there are an extremely low number of commons and uncommons worth playing at this time. Card quality has inking bleeds, rough and uplifted edges, foil scratches. Its been all down hill for awhile. Just steer clear of this product (collectors box/packs) if you can.

I opened three boxes. Didn’t crack a single textured foil card or raised foil. Everything else I cracked from the boxes you can find in Play boosters. Not sure if these were resealed or what, but I pulled about on average 120ish dollars of card value per box. Wouldn’t recommend. Got a lot of multiples of bulk rares and mythic rares. Oh well. Have to ratio the product based on my experience with it.

  6. Amazon Customer

I really was looking forward to the cowboy themed plane, but these packs just don’t feel good to open at all. The chase cards are way too far apart pack to pack and the packs are flooded with the wanted poster treatments. This flooding really doesn’t make them feel good or special by any means, I would avoid the collectors boxes and move towards picking up the play boosters. Of the playboosters that came in my fat pack they just felt way more rewarding to open. When everything is special, nothing is.
