I’m not going to say it was a good value for the money because regardless of anything, the price is way too high for literally just paper with pictures printed on it. But we did get some amazing cards out of this. We got lots of foils, some anime art cards and lots of borderless and lots of alternate art cards. Tons of mythic rares. The function of the playable cards were also remarkable. But the packaging is what’s important here. The packaging was perfect. Nothing was tampered with. The plastic wrap was the official Wizards of rhe Coast wrap. It literally had ‘Wizards’ printed all over it. The cards were all in excellent condition.

Reviewing this product is tricky. Keep in mind I’m reviewing the Collector’s Booster Box, and not the actual set.

Is Wilds of Eldraine a fun set? Absolutely! There are a ton of great cards that capture the feeling of fairy tales, and who doesn’t like evil animated sweets like Mint-strosity and the Sugar Maw? Syr Ginger the Meal Ender! So awesome!

Are you getting your money’s worth from Collector’s Boosters? I’d give you a resounding no. Here’s the deal: Collector’s Boosters have driven down the price for foils, because where as less than one “premium” card per pack was being opened back in the day, now people are opening stacks of them. In many cases, the foil version is worth less than the regular!

But it gets worse. The chase cards, such as surge foils and serialized cards as seen in the recent LotR set, lead people to open more and more Collector’s Boosters. As such, even the foil showcase frameless alternate art stuff is being printed/driven into the ground.

There is some good news here: if you enjoy playing – or even collecting – Magic, these boosters have really caused a dip in the secondary market value. So you can pick up some fun cards on the cheap. That means it should be less expensive to build a deck in Standard – although the top cards and multi-format all-stars like Agatha’s Cauldron are still holding their value well. But if you want those cool cards, getting these packs isn’t the way.

I opened a foil showcase anime style mythic, felt pretty excited, and learned it is going for about two bucks on several online marketplaces. How does it feel to open a pack that cost you roughly seventeen bucks and get five dollars worth of singles out of it? Buy a box if you want to find out!

I love Wilds of Eldraine, but don’t recommend buying this product.

You’re probably going to lose 35% of the value on opening any sealed product. However, if you’re okay with that it’s a fun set to open!

The delivery was grat. box was seald and arived 1 day before. However do not waste you money I bought 2 boxes and los almost 250usd, the first box I lost 100usd the second was even wosrts, lost 150usd. Al the mitics were las then a dollar, 0 confeti cards.

  11. Itak

Dont recommend, did not get a single confetti foil card in the entire booster BOX!!!
It did not have a sealed sticker on the box, and we believe the boosters were tampered with because we got almost no mythic, and no foil at all in the entire box and 1 art only for the entire box, which is not normal at all.
I kept it because it was fun to open anyhow, but very disappointing and obviously total rip off.

Will not buy there anymore. Be careful.

This product was fun to open and I enjoyed the enchanted tales cards in it as well as the anime borderless card I got from it it

This set is exactly what the MTG community needed. The past few sets were gouging prices with it being “the One Ring” to just a handful of cards worth any value both monetary and play value. This set changed that, from being affordable to highly playable at any level. Whether you’re new to the game or a seasoned player, this set offers a lot. Can easily build a deck that is playable to upgrading your existing deck(s) in most formats. The Anime Art style cards are nice and bringing back Fairy Tale cards is a blast. Between Collector boxes, set boxes, and bundles (with the cards I got), the best value is bundle boxes. The collector packs are a close second but preorder prices were 15% higher than post release prices. That kind of stung but now I know for the Dr. Who set. Of the 3 collector boxes ordered, the play and monetary value aligned, unlike set booster boxes. I got a few from different LGSs and 3 from Amazon. Dupes were present in 2 packs consistently meaning either a rare or mythic had a foil and reg version in the same pack. None were the high monetary valued or anime cards. But hopefully someone else lucks out. Average from 10 boxes were 3.2 anime art (1.25 foil), 15 Enchanted Tails cards (3.66 foil M/R),
5.5 commander cards (no foils), 23 foil base cards, 14.3 EA/Showcase rares. I have always said since Core 2021 to buy and bundle and singles. This set is well worth the venture by collector boxes, set booster boxes, and bundle sets. Pre release packs were duds from the 3 I got from Amazon. Don’t over indulge, buy or trade for singles too! Good luck
